SparkleHabit

Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of SparkleHabit, including habit tracking, widgets, reminders, ads, and the optional Remove Ads purchase.

Last updated: April 27, 2026 iPhone and iPad

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of SparkleHabit ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

SparkleHabit is a habit tracking app. It helps you create habits, check them in, view streaks and activity, receive optional reminders, use widgets, and optionally remove ads through an in-app purchase.

SparkleHabit is a productivity and wellness tool. It is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you use the App and for any decisions you make based on your habits or progress.

Your Habit Data

You control the habit information you enter into the App. This may include habit names, notes, schedules, reminders, check-ins, streaks, mastery status, and archive/delete state.

You agree not to enter information that you do not have the right to use or that violates someone else's privacy or rights.

SparkleHabit stores habit data locally on your device and in the app's shared App Group container for widget support. The App does not currently provide a cloud sync account or backup service. You are responsible for device backups if you want to preserve your data outside the App.

Notifications and Widgets

Reminders are optional and depend on iOS notification permissions and system behavior. SparkleHabit cannot guarantee that a notification or widget timeline will appear at an exact time.

Widgets may display habit progress on your device. Anyone with access to your device or visible widgets may be able to see that information.

Ads

SparkleHabit may show ads through Google AdMob on screens such as Today and Activity. Ads may be personalized or contextual depending on Google, Apple, regional rules, and your device settings.

If you buy Remove Ads, SparkleHabit will hide the app's own AdMob banner placements while the Remove Ads entitlement is active.

In-App Purchases

SparkleHabit may offer a one-time Remove Ads purchase through Apple In-App Purchase, managed in the app through RevenueCat.

The price shown inside the App may be a fallback display until the live App Store product price is loaded. The final price, currency, taxes, and payment terms shown in Apple's purchase sheet control the transaction.

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds, billing issues, and payment methods are handled by Apple under App Store rules. SparkleHabit includes a Restore Purchase action so you can restore an active Remove Ads entitlement where supported.

Buying Remove Ads does not transfer ownership of the App, its code, artwork, brand, or other intellectual property.

Third-Party Services

SparkleHabit uses third-party services to support ads and purchases:

Your use of those features may also be governed by those third parties' terms and policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Availability and Changes

SparkleHabit may change over time. Features, designs, ads, prices, supported devices, widgets, and purchase options may be added, changed, or removed.

The App may not always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, iOS version, widget configuration, notification setting, or third-party service state.

Intellectual Property

SparkleHabit, including its app design, artwork, icons, text, source code, and brand elements, is owned by the app developer or licensed for use in the App. You may use the App only as allowed by these Terms and the App Store rules.

You retain responsibility for the habit names, notes, and other text you enter into the App.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, SparkleHabit makes no warranties that the App will meet your expectations, improve your habits, preserve every streak, prevent data loss, show notifications at exact times, or be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, SparkleHabit and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunities, missed reminders, broken streaks, or issues caused by third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.

Termination

You may stop using SparkleHabit at any time and delete the App from your device. SparkleHabit may restrict or discontinue features if required for legal, security, technical, or platform reasons.

Privacy

Your use of SparkleHabit is also governed by the Privacy Policy: https://iharoknorp.github.io/legal-pages/sparkleHabit/privacy.html.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when SparkleHabit changes its features, purchases, advertising, third-party services, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date will be changed when the Terms are updated.
