Terms of Use — FileShift Effective date: March 10, 2026
Service FileShift provides offline tools for converting, compressing, merging, splitting, renaming, previewing, playing, and exporting supported document, image, audio, and video files on a compatible mobile device.
Acceptable Use You may use the app only for lawful purposes and only with files and content you own or are otherwise authorized to use, convert, edit, preview, extract, export, or share.
You must not use the app to infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, export controls, sanctions, or other applicable laws.
User Responsibility You are solely responsible for the files and content you select, process, store, export, share, or remove using the app, and for confirming that you have the necessary rights and permissions to do so.
Offline Processing and Local Storage Core features of FileShift are designed to run locally on your device, where supported. Source files, converted files, previews, and related media may be stored locally on your device or in app storage until you delete them.
Ads, Purchases, and Third Parties The app may display ads and may offer subscriptions or purchases. Advertising, billing, subscription management, analytics, crash reporting, or related technical operations may involve third-party services such as Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Google Play, or other service providers used by the app.
Permissions and Device Access The app may require device permissions or system-provided file access in order to let you select files, preview media, play audio or video, save outputs, or share results. You can manage permissions through your device settings.
No Warranty The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every conversion, preview, extraction, or export will be accurate, complete, secure, or compatible with every file or device.
Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business arising from or related to use of the app.
Suspension or Termination We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the app or certain features if required to comply with law, protect users, protect our rights, or prevent abuse.
Changes We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest effective date will appear at the top. By continuing to use the app after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.
